Day1.
Arrival at NRT airport,transfer to SYO Airport,Hotel check in
You arrive at Narita Airport and take the Plane to Yamagata Shonai Airport.
After arriving at Shonai Airport, English speaking Tour Guide meets and picks you up.
The guide helps you exchange your money and passes the data sim cards and
help you install it in your phone to be used for online supports.
He/She will escort you till the car and you will be transferred to hotel by hired car.
You will check in the hotel yourself

When the guide is not accompanying you, you can reach out to the guide online by calling or messaging them,whenever you need any help,or you have any question by using the data Sim cards delivered on the day of your arrival in Japan.
Day 2.
Yamabushi experience:Orientation and Authentic Yamabushi Practice
Yamabushido is a collection of training programs in the way of Shugendo, one of Japan’s most ancient and transformative practices.
Basic instructions in English will be given by the support guide throughout the training, and basic English support will be offered.
As an experiential program, there are not too many things to explain.
Shugendo is something to experience directly, and much of the program is conducted in silence.
This program has less physical demand than the Full Yamabushi Training yet maintains the waterfall meditation.
After the practice you will stay at Daishobo, one of the pilgrim lodges at the foothills of Dewa Mountains; large Japanese tatami rooms, shared with same gender of the tour group and having simple meals together.
Day 3.
Yamabushi Practice and reflection time over Naorai, a celebration lunch
All practices you do in these 2 days are
Hiking in the sacred Mount Dewa area
Zazen meditation
Reciting mantras
Prayers for peace and well-being
Waterfall meditation
Night walking
Jumping over fire
Visiting sacred shrines (some are not open to the general public)
So, you will have breakfast in the morning and start Yamabushi
path from your hotel. On Second day you also continue practicing day 2 after the breakfast and will have a celebration lunch with the group

Day 4.
Discovering Sokushinbutsu living Buddha
It is said that there are about a dozen Living Buddhas in Japan, but six of them are enshrined in five temples in Shonai area.
So, you will have a 1-day tour of visiting these Buddhas in Shonai area Temples as follows.
Mt. Fudō: Honmyō Temple, Mt. Shako: Kaiko Temple, Mt. Yudono: Ryūsui Temple, Dainichibō, Mt. Yudono: Chūren
Temple, Mt. Shugyō: Nangaku Temple, Mt. Daihi: Kannon Temple,
You will have your breakfast and meet your guide. You will get in the car and start visiting all the temples and living Buddhas.
At the end of the tour you will get apart from the guide and get off at Sakata Station. You take the bus back to Yamagata
station with the help of our online support guides and stay overnight at Yamagata.



Day 5.
The Hidden Path of Zen at Yamadera
Discover a very unique spiritual experience in Yamadera.
The local guide will guide you through breathtaking natural caves
and high viewpoints steeped with spiritual history.
You will have lunch in a popular local noodle shop, before trying out some more formal meditation techniques.
Monks will guide you in a session Zazen seated meditation, as well as a session of
Shakyo (copying Sutra calligraphy), to free your mind and relax your spirit.
Transfers from and to hotel would be done by yourself with the help of our online support guides if needed and is self pay.

Day 6.
Transfer from Yamagata to Tokyo by bullet train (tickets included)


In the morning you will have your breakfast and move to the Yamagata station to get the bullet train to Tokyo using our online support guide.
You will reach to Tokyo in less than 3 hours. You check in to your hotel and you will have your free time.
This is an option half day tour for Odaiba

In the afternoon you go to Megaweb Toyota City Showcase, wandering through Toyota city car showcase and inspecting the latest display models.
Please don’t miss the chance to test-drive your favorite car, For a more immersive experience.
Then you go to Digital Arts Museum Team Lab Borderless, a place to visit and experience the magic brought to you by light and shade, with the miracle use of reflection, color and music, get into what it calls ‘borderless’.
It might take you some time to get in as mostly there is a long line you need to queue in. It may take 3~4 hours to discover this place.
After that you enjoy the fascinating atmosphere of Odaiba by watching Gundam statute and the statute of liberty and go shopping in luxury Shopping malls.



Day 7.
Free day
Option 1: Tokyo Tour
You will have a free day. You can use our optional tours or get advice from our tour guides and plan your schedule.
In the morning you go to Imperial Palace, the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan. East Gardens of the Imperial Palace are opened to the public.
In the afternoon time you visit Asakusa the old town of Tokyo (Kaminarimon, Nakamise, Sensouji Etc) and then you get on top of the Sky tree and see the view of the modern Tokyo.
Bus Tour / English Speaking Guide



Option 2: World Heritage Mt. FUJI, Lake Kawaguchi Tour
You will meet your tour leader at Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal.
You will get in the bus and have a Full-day tour to enjoy the World Heritage Mount Fuji!
Visit Oishi Park overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, Mt. Fuji Panorama Ropeway and Hotel Regina Kawaguchiko.
Then depending the weather, you will go till Fuji 5th Station.
At the end you visit Oshino Hakkai the cute scenic village and you go back to Shinjuku station.

Day 8.
Transfer to NRT
You will have your breakfast and get ready to leave the hotel.
You will go to the nearest station by the help of our online support guides and then take the limousine bus to Narita airport.
