Shichi-Go-San literally means “seven-five-three” in Japanese. This festival is celebrated on November 15 traditionally for three year old boys and girls, seven year old girls and five year old boys.
On this day the girls dress up in kimono and the boy wear hakama and visit Shinto Shrines and pray for health and prosperity as they grow.
