“JR East Welcome Rail Pass 2020” allows unlimited travel on all JR East trains in Tokyo, Tohoku, Nagano, and Niigata area, inclusive of the Shinkansen, for 3 consecutive days.
This discount pass is probably JR’s best deal yet for non-Japanese passport holders.
Tickets will be purchased from October 16 to February 26 at any JR East Travel Service Centre or online. It is valid for use every day of the week until February 28, 2021.
