Summer has already started in most of the places of Japan. One of the best places which must be visited in summer is Furano at hokkaido when the lavender fields are in bloom. Farm Tomita is the most popular lavender viewing spot in the Furano area. Every summer Furano’s lavender fields attract many tourists. The majority of lavender usually starts blooming in late June and reaches its peak from around mid-July to early August. A purple carpet of lavenders spreads over the slope which is breathtaking. Entrance to this farm is free and you can enjoy cafes and shops that sell a lavender product. Don’t forget to try lavender ice cream there.
