Japan will ban foreign visitors entry and halt domestic travel campaigns due to new virus strain.
New entry restriction starts from December 28 until the end of January 2021.
Japanese citizens and foreign residents who have a valid re-entry permit are excluded from this entry ban. But they have to submit a negative coronavirus test proof that was taken 72 hours before the departure time of the flight into Japan. They are also required to quarantine for 14 days after arrival and avoid using the public transportation from the airport to their places.
